Handmade Wooden Art Storage Rack for storing your Art canvas, pictures, frames, sketchbooks, portfolios, etc.
- The base is approximately 36” long x 8” wide.
- Dowel are spaced approximately 2” apart creating fourteen (14) 2” wide storage slots.
- Available in two height options:
18” tall dowels - intended to safely store Art canvas up to 18” tall 12” tall dowels - intended to safely store Art canvas up to 12” tall
These are great for all types pictures, picture frames, canvas prints, paintings, artwork, portfolios, books, sketches etc.
****For canvas paintings/prints that have no backing it is important that the dowel upright rests on the wooden stretcher frame and not directly on the canvas. Generally speaking the dowel must be the same height or taller than the height (or width) of the canvas. Alternatively, a piece of mat board, foam board, even cardboard or some other backing can be placed behind the canvas for protection.****
This will help organize and keep your art in better condition.
Great for basement or art studio storage and organization but also work great as display for your shop or store.
Made of unfinished pine with poplar dowels.
The dowels fit snug but can be removed. You can glue the dowels in if you choose but I feel it’s unnecessary and I prefer them unglued so you can remove dowels if you have something larger to store.
